Antioch's Marchetti Park work turns to grading and tennis courts
Demolition is done and the new restroom is in. The city says the project is on schedule for completion as early as December.
Work at Marchetti Park in Antioch has moved past its first stage. The city said in an update posted Aug. 18 that demolition is complete and the new restroom has been installed.
Over the coming weeks, crews are scheduled to begin grading, tennis court improvements, and other civil and site-related work. Neighbors should expect to keep seeing construction activity on the site while that happens.
The city said the project is progressing on schedule, with completion anticipated as early as December.
