San Ramon, Danville, and East Bay Cities Set 2026 Tree Lightings
Festivities begin Nov. 20 at City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon and Main Street Plaza in Martinez, followed by Danville’s Lighting of the Old Oak Tree on Nov. 27.

Communities across the San Ramon Valley, Tri-Valley, and Contra Costa County have announced their November and December 2026 schedules for annual holiday tree lighting ceremonies and seasonal parades, according to a regional calendar published by Your Town Monthly.
The regional celebrations open on Friday, Nov. 20, 2026, with two evening gatherings: the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony in San Ramon from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at City Center Bishop Ranch, and the Holiday Tree Lighting in Martinez at 7:30 p.m. at Main Street Plaza in downtown Martinez.
Thanksgiving Weekend Ceremonies in Danville and Fairfield
Following Thanksgiving, the Town of Danville will host the Lighting of the Old Oak Tree on Friday, Nov. 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in downtown Danville, with event details posted at Danville.CA.gov.
On Saturday, Nov. 28, 2026, the 26th Jelly Belly Tree Lighting will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Jelly Belly Visitor Center in Fairfield.
Early December Gatherings Across the Tri-Valley and Diablo Valley
Four additional East Bay tree lightings and holiday parades are scheduled for the first week of December:
- Dublin: The Annual Holiday Tree Lighting is set for Thursday, Dec. 3, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Dublin Civic Center.
- Walnut Creek: The Holiday Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting will run on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek.
- Lafayette: The “It’s a Wonderful Life in Lafayette” celebration is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lafayette Plaza in downtown Lafayette.
- Concord: The Annual Tree Lighting and Mayor’s Sing-Along will be held on Friday, Dec. 4, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Todos Santos Plaza in downtown Concord.
- Pleasanton: The Hometown Holiday Celebration on Main Street in downtown Pleasanton will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2026, beginning with the parade at 5:00 p.m. followed by the tree lighting.
